Variants let one service carry several options, each with its own duration and price. Your booking page shows the service once with a from price, the client picks the option, and the booking is made for exactly that length and amount.
Variants are included on every plan, Free and Pro.
How variants work
Add options to a service
Short, standard, long. Junior stylist, senior stylist. Each variant has its own minutes and its own price. Mark one as the default.
A tidy booking page
Clients see one service card with a from price instead of five near-identical services. They choose the variant when they select it.
Slots that fit the option
A 90 minute variant only shows times where 90 minutes are free for the team member and, if used, the room.
Deposits follow the price
The deposit and the full price come from the chosen variant, so the client pays the right amount at booking.
Locked in on the booking
The variant, its duration and its price are stored on the booking. Later edits to the service never change past bookings, invoices or commissions.

Questions about service variants
How is a variant different from a separate service?
A variant shares the service name, description, images, team assignments and rooms. Only the duration and price differ. Use separate services when the work itself is different.
Can the client pick a variant in a multi-service booking?
Yes. Each service in the basket has its own variant choice, and Booklink finds a slot for the combined time.
Do variants work for classes?
Yes. A class can offer, for example, a drop-in price and a member price as variants.
What if a variant is free?
A free variant needs no deposit. The card shows the cheapest paid option as the from price.
