Session packages

Sell ten sessions today. Get paid once, up front.

A package is a bundle of credits for one service. Clients buy it from your booking page or you record a sale over the counter. Every booking they make against the package uses one credit, and the money is already in your account.

Session packages are included in Pro at R79 a month.

How packages work

Create the bundle

Pick the service, the number of sessions and the price. Add an expiry in months if credits should not last forever.

Sell online or in person

Clients buy from your booking page and pay through Yoco, Paystack, PayFast or iKhokha. Or you record a cash or EFT sale yourself.

A private link to redeem

The buyer gets an email with a personal package link. No login, no account. They open it, pick a time, and one credit is used.

Credits come back on cancellation

Cancel inside your cancellation window and the credit returns to the package automatically. Cancel late and it is used, unless you choose to return it.

Works for classes

A package for a group class books seats from the same credits. Two seats, two credits.

See where every credit went

Each package shows credits sold, used and remaining, and every booking it paid for.

In one paragraph

What are session packages in Booklink?

Session packages in Booklink are prepaid bundles of credits for one service, for example ten personal training sessions for R5000. A client buys the package online through Yoco, Paystack, PayFast or iKhokha, or the business records the sale, and then books each session from a private redemption link without logging in. Each booking uses one credit, credits return when a booking is cancelled inside the cancellation window, and packages can carry an expiry in months. Packages are a Pro feature at R79 a month.

Questions about session packages

Does the client need an account to use a package?

No. The redemption link in their email is the key. They open it, choose a time, and Booklink uses one credit.

What happens when a client cancels a package booking?

If they cancel inside your cancellation window the credit goes straight back to the package. If they cancel late, the credit is used. When you cancel for them, you choose whether to return it.

Can a package cover more than one service?

Not yet. A package is tied to one service. Sell one package per service for now.

Do packages expire?

Only if you set an expiry in months when you create the package. Expiry counts from the date the package is activated.

Is Booklink taking a cut of package sales?

No. Booklink charges 0% commission. Your gateway charges its normal processing fee on the one payment.
